UNT Core Task Force Wiki

 

WELCOME!

 

To get started click the tab "Side Bar" in the box to the right  ------>

     It serves as a table of contents for the site.

     Then click on a topic that interests you, visit that page and add your views.

 

To edit . . . you'll need to log in . . .

     Only people logged in are permitted to edit - If you don't see an "edit" tab on the page at the top then logout and log back in . . . here's how to log in:

        1. Type UNT (all caps) in at "invite"

        2. Type in any name

        3. Type in any email  

 

 

Sharing your plan

 

1. Upload the plan to Files and follow the IMPORTANT naming convention - YourLastName PlanName

2. Copy the data from the file you just uploaded

3. Add a page name it YourlastName PlanName (example Iaeger Balanced Plan1)

 

 

 

4. Edit by pasting the document onto the page

 

 

 

5. Save the edits

6. Last step Go to the SIDEBAR choose edit

7. Add your your page by choosing link - link page choose Wiki Page - Select your page from the list  - have the name of the link match the page name

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Save it Then go HOME 

 

9. Saving sometimes cause an error page not found just use the back navigation arrow in your browser and save again (It usually does save but depending on server availablity can give that error)

Basic Instructions

 

To navigate through the wiki use the SIDEBAR on the right             

To edit a page use the button EDIT PAGE

After adding your information SAVE PAGE

Each page has a comment section that can be used to discuss topics off-page to keep down clutter

 

 

Wiki-Etiquette

 

Name and Date all Open-Space Comments (Paula 11/29/07)

Do not delete another person's comments - use strikeout to indicate suggestion to remove

Cite sources to give credit where credit is due

Put Alt-text on all images

Use colors sparingly (usually to separate sections)

Follow agreed upon naming conventions

 

When conversations are concluded on a topic archive comments to serve as a record of the process
